RESERVATIONS

The concert on Saturday, August 1 is an orchestra performance in an outdoor theatre. It is a casual atmosphere. People bring sandwiches and picnic dinners and eat them either at tables before the concert or in their seats.  Wine and beer are permitted, which you can bring in or purchase on site.  Prices for food and drink on site are excessive.  Please do not drink to excess.

The music is the Tchaikovsky Swan Lake suite, and after intermission the 1812 Overture with fireworks. It is a spectacular event. I have chosen seating farther back because it’s less expensive and better for seeing the fireworks. You will have to walk upstairs to reach the seats.

Visitors staying at the Lowe’s Hollywood Hotel can walk to the Hollywood Bowl, 20 minutes. Local guests may take a shuttle bus, public transportation or park in one of the lots.

Tickets are $45 each. Please purchase them here before Friday, July 24, so I can find seats for everyone together. You may also purchase them through the Hollywood Bowl website, but I cannot guarantee seating.
